FRYDAY WINS AGAIN
WRESTLING MATCH AT TAIHAPE.
Laurie Fryday, Waipuku, who beat “Strangler” Lewis in a professional wrestling bout at-Stratford recently, defeated H. Brinsden in a professional, bout over eight rounds at Taihape. Brinsden secured a fall in the second round with a jack knife and Fryday evened in the fifth with a fall from a Boston crab. He was given the decision on points.
Fryday’s style attracted the attention of members of the Rangitikel Wrestling Association, from which he has received a letter congratulating him on his. splendid display and asking him to wrestle with F. Wilson, Napier, at Hunterville on a date to be arranged
