LAUNCHED AT BELFAST.—The cruiser H.M.S. Penelope was launched on October 15 at Belfast, Ireland, after being named by the Duchess of Abercorn, wife of the Governor of Northern Ireland. This is the first cruiser to be launched at Belfast since H.M.S. Vindictive was put afloat there in the last year of the war.
