PHAR LAP’S SON
FULL LENGTH COMEDY. A full-length comedy, “Phar Lap’s Son,” to be produced by a New Zealand company, South Seas Films, went into production in Dunedin on October 10, when various scenes at the Wingatui racing track were filmed. It is hoped that the film will be. ready for release between November 15 and December.
The author of the script, Dr. A. L. Lewis, of Hollywood, has recently conducted talkie tests in almost 100 theatres throughout New Zealand during the past year to select the cast.
