NOEL COWARD AT WORK
NUMBER OF NEW PLAYS. Noel Coward has written a number of new plays .which he will be trying out in the English provinces before appearing in them at London. They are said not to conform with the one-act play as the term is usually understood, but they range between comedy, musical comedy and the more serious drama. At present there are six of them —enough for two nights’ entertainment—but there are indications that another three will be added to them before the company reaches London in the next month or two. Mr. Coward will appear in the plays himself, and with him will be Miss Gertrude Lawrence.
