NUTTY JOYS. (Sent by Stella Hughes.) Eight ounces of butter, 6oz of sugar, 12oz of flour, one egg, a teaspoon of baking powder, one large cupful of finely-chopped walnuts. Beat the butter and sugar, add the egg, then the other ingredients, mix well. Put some small pieces on a tray and cook slowly a nice brown.
