PUNGAREHU NOTES
The monthly meeting of tire hall committee was held last Monday evening. Various accounts were passed for payment and Mr. Jarman’s tender' for the lease of the hall canteen was accepted for a period of 12 months. The opening of the tennis season was celebrated last week-end by a Yankee tournament. Visitors from Warea, Oaonui, Rahotu and Okato being present. The winners were Miss C. Brophy and Mr. J. Priest.
The new addition to the factory is practically completed and work is proceeding with the installation, of machinery which will be completed in a few weeks.
