Mrs. J. H. Paulger, Tikora'ngi, spent a few days at New Plymouth this week. Mrs. M. Frost left on Thursday to live at Wellington. Miss E. Fetch, Inglewood, is the guest of Miss L. Limmer, Brixton, Mrs. C. Tate and the Misses M. Allen and M. Nosworthy motore'd to New Plymouth on Thursday evening to see “No, No, Nanette.” On Wednesday evening the Inglewood Play Box Club assisted by players from Urenui and sever”! Inglewood and Urenui performers, entertained an enthusiastic audience in St. John’s hall. The proceeds were for the Church of England rose show. The performers were entertained at supper by women members of the church. On Tuesday afternoon the official opening of the Clifton Park Tennis Club was held. A large number of visitors included club members from Urenui, Motunui, Tikorangi and Waitara. Afternoon tea was served by women members of the club.
