Travelling by special trains and motor buses throughout the country, the first German post-war conscripts are arriving at the regimental centres in readiness for the conscription law, which will be enforced on November 1. It is believed that tne full annual contingent of recruits will approach 450,000, the present draft of about 200,000 increasing the army to 400,000.
