BUTTER PRICES ANNOUNCED. Wellington, Oct. 31. The Dairy Board has fixed the minimum price for f.o.b. and c.i.f. sales on the basis of 12'Ad a lb for butter and 5%d for cheese. The minimum prices are subject to agents’ selling commission. These prices are equivalent to butter 100 s 6d cwt and cheese 47s lOd cwt. GOLD MINING ACTIVITIES. For the fortnight ended October 19 the Addison’s Flat Gold Mining Company worked 18 shifts for a return of 17oz 12dwt of gold, reports the Press Association. There will be no further returns for about two months, as the plant is. being moved to the Gallaher’s Lead area.
