WOMEN’S INSTITUTES
Tarata: At the monthly meeting the motto was: “If you do your best to bring happiness to others your own will come without being, sought after.” A letter of resignation was read from the president, Mrs. Standish, who is leaving the district. Much regret was expressed at her loss, as she had been untiring in her efforts to help the institute. Messrs. Swears and Green demonstrated and gave an interesting talk on resuscitation. Tire hostesses were Mesdames Drummond. Swears and Swan and Miss M. Corkill.
