DANCE AT TANGARAKAU
GENERAL AND PERSONAL NEWS. A successful dance was held in the Tangarakau hall on Saturday night in aid of the children’s health campaign. Monte Carlo, waltzes were won by Miss Myrtle Dean and Mr. G. Gordon and Miss Margaret Sinclair and Miss Dean. A mystery farm waltz was won by Miss Isla Kilmister and Mr. r 'gerton. Children's Monte Carlo waltzes were won by Izne Moore and Norman Moore and Jewel Slight and Hector Mallett. A competition was won by Mr. F. Collins, Stratford. Music was supplied by Mrs. Stark. Mr. Mallett was master of ceremonies. ” Miss D. Anderson visited New Plymouth at the week-end. Miss Betty Savage and Miss Una Betts were the guests of Miss Lois McCartie, Tahora. ' „ , , Mr. C. Mallett visited Tangarakau for the week-end. Mr. and Mrs. Millar has left for a short holiday at New Plymouth. Mr. D. Sinclair visited his parents for the week-end. Mr. E. Dean, Tangarakau, has been a visitor to Hawera.
