NATIONAL DISASTER?
FLOOD DAMAGE IN HONDURAS. GRAVE FEARS ENTERTAINED. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Tegucigalpa (Honduras), Oct. 29. The bodies of 70 persons drowned in the floods after the recent hurricane were recovered at Corocito. Officials believe that further reports would indicate that Honduras is suffering the worst disaster in the nation’s history. It is estimated that the dead number 2000. Communications are interrupted and details are lacking and incomplete. Estimates place property damage at £1,200,000.
