Miss' M. Gilmer, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. Gilmer, Omata, is in the Hawera hospital, having undergone an operation for appendicitis. While chopping wood, Clarence Simpson inflicted a nasty gash in his foot, necessitating his removal to hospital Miss D. Reeves, Uruti, spent a few days with her aunt, Mrs. H. Gilmer, recently.
