UNFAIRNESS ALLEGED

REPORT OF DEMOCRAT’S SPEECH.

CROWD’S ATTITUDE AT DUNEDIN.

By' Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night.

A complaint has been made by Mr. A. E. 'Davy, executive officer of the Democrat Party, that the Press Association report of Mr. T. C. A. Hislop’s Dunedin meeting was unfair and inaccurate. He states that the Rev. Mr. Fraser moved a vote of thanks and confidence, which was carried by acclamation, and the crowd did not leave the hall until the meeting was over. At most six Labour interjectors left. It is not customary for party leaders to answer questions, and neither Mr. G. W. Forbes nor Sir Alfred Ransom answered questions after their addresses at Dunedin.
