CHANGE IN WEATHER By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night, The weather will be mainly fair to mild at first, says the 4 p.m. forecast. Hazy cloud will gradually increase, however, and rain will develop shortly in the far north and south and on the west coast of the South Island. Conditions will become unsettled fairly generally in from 24 to 36 hours. The anti-cyclone over New Zealand is moving slowly eastwards and a depression is advancing across the Tasman. Winds will be light to moderate and variable at first, but soon tending to northerly and gradually freshening. Seas in New Zealand waters will be smooth to moderate but later rising north of East Cape and in offshore waters north of Cape Egmont. In the eastern Tasman there will be freshening north-west to north winds with moderate but rising seas.
