CHOCOLATE FUDGE. (Sent by Margaret Barlow.) Two cups sugar, J cup milk, 1 good ounce ’ butter, nuts or coconut as desired, 1 dessertspoon cocoa or grated chocolate, vanilla essence. Place sugar, cocoa, milk and butter in a saucepan and bring to the boil, then boil 10 minutes (not more) without stirring, only shaking now and then. Add nuts and few drops of vanilla essence, then beat to stiff paste and put in a greased tin. Cut before cold.
