LITTLE GINGER CAKES. (Sent by Moorie Pope.) Four oz flour, 2oz sugar, 2 eggs, 1 teaspoon baking powder, ioz ground ginger, 4oz treacle. Sift dry ingredients; melt butter and treacle and stir into dry ingredients, then add the eggs, well beaten. Bake in paper cups in a hot oven for about 10 minutes. When cold cut off top and divide into two pieces, add whipped cream and place the two pieces on the whipped cream like wings. If preferred icing sugar and melted butter mixed together can be used instead of cream.
