CHOCOLATE COCONUT FUDGE. Break a quarter of a pound of plain chocolate into a saucepan, cover < with a breakfastcupful of milk, and stir over the fire until the chocolate has completely melted. Now add one pound of granulated sugar, stir until it has melted, and boil until the mixture begins to thicken, and hardens when a little is dropped into cold water. Remove the saucepan from the fire and stir into the mixture a little more than a quarter of a pound of fine desiccated coconut. When well mixed turn on to a buttered tin, and cut into bars when almost cold.
