THE age of romance has combined with current fashion trend for evening in Hollywood. Kitty Carlisle, Paramount player, wears a glamorous gown of white net lace studded with rhinestones and trimmed with clusters of rose geraniums. + + JOAN BENNETT has the ideal costume for, afternoons. This consists of a stunning navy and white printed taffetas one-piece frock, over which goes a long coat of navy taffetas belted in patent leather. A chic hat of navy taffetas matches the outfit and other accessories of white harmonise with the print. ' + + r pHE same star features a very sweet dinner gown of gay print. Vari-colored flowers riot over a black background and liny squares of crystal act as buttons for the front. The gawn is-draped in the back and held with a carved crystal buckle. J-JERE is an unusual walking suit —Joan Bennett’s choice. Navy blue skirt of sheer wool crepe topped by a jacket and ruffled gilet of powder blue linen. Patent, leather shoes with white bows and a hat of powder blue felt complete the outfit.
