Wards have a wonderful selection of pure spun silks in checks; arid stripes in'the newest colourings; which are ideal for fashionable afternoon frocks of blouses. Imitation linens shown in flecked effects, are absolutely. tmcrushable and are . also fast colour. These will be extremely populai' this season. Recenty someone living out of town wrote to me asking if I could , get them some playing cards and accessories for playing bridge. So I called at Corrigall s and found that they carry a wonderful selection of everything necessary for this popular winter game. They have cards in great variety, from the cheap pack for everyday ■ use to the all-linen card which will give endless service. Pencils and very attractive scorer's are- sold at the most reasonable prices. Their again, Corrigalls carry a fine stock, of card gamos which are sure to be appreciated in the evenings.
