At Mount Cook to-day the title of New Zealand ski-running champion was won by A. G. Wigley (Tasman Club), H. R. Wigley being second. The conditions were good for to-day’s events, which resulted as follows:— Downhill slalom: A. G. Wigley (Tasman) 1, H. R. Wigley (Tasman) 2, Brian Murphy, Dawson Falls (Ruapehu) 3, B. McMillan, Stratford (Ruapehu) 4. Women’s downhill slalom: Mrs. A. B. Edwardes (Christchurch) 1, Miss J. Beale (Stratford) 2, Miss D. Wilkins (Christchurch) 3.

Long distance championship, about seven miles: A. >G. Wigley, 48m 18Js, 1; B. Murphy, 48m 50 l-ss, 2; J. Swan (Otago), 51m 455, 3. The jumping championship was won by H. R. Wigley, with B. McMillan second.
