SOCIAL AT BELL BLOCK

FUNDS FOR ST. LUKE’S CHURCH. The euchre party and dance on Saturday evening to raise funds to effect repairs to St. Luke’s Church, Belt Block, was wry successful. Euchre was played in the supper room under the supervision of Messrs. G. W. Bracegirdle and lE. R Newell. The prize-winners were Mrs. Cole and Mrs. J. B. Groom and Mr. R. Day and Mr. L. J. Rundle. Music was supplied by Messrs. Boulton and George, an extra being supplied by Miss Dobson. Novelty dances were a feature of the evening. Monte Carlo and lucky spot waltzes were won by Mr. W. Mallon and Miss O. Jeffery and Miss Avery and partner. . Supper was dispensed by the members of St. Luke’s guild under vision of the president, MnA. ‘.. . Street.
