RESTORATION OF CUT
PRIME MINISTER APPROACHED. PUBLIC SERVICE DEPUTATION. (By Wire—■ Parliamentary Reporter.) Wellington, Last Night. A deputation representing all sections o- the public service waited on the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. G. W. Forbes, this morning with a request for a full restoration of salaries. Proceedings were closed to the Press but it is understood that the Prime Minister was not in a position to give the deputation a definite reply. He undertook to bring the matter before the Government, which would give every consideration to the claims.
