Art of teaching: Vera Sowerby 74, Mary Healy 70. Junior: Nora King 95, Mary Davis 95, Kathleen Bourke 94, Mary Julian 86, Ann Doyle 85 (all honours). Preparatory: Leah Courtnay 87 (honours), Peggy Brennan 86 (honours). Rudiments (Associated Board): Marie Carey 95, Betty Bulman 92, Sheila Brophy 90, Maureen Fleming 88. Results in Pitman’s shorthand speed examination were: Eileen Sheehy, Betty Cave, Kathleen Poynton (90 words per minute), Margaret Driscoll (80 words per minute), Tui Allen, Patricia Stanton, Camilla Sisarich, Joan Whitcombe, Peggy Adlam, Mary O’Donnell, Jean Lucas (60 words per minute).
