ELECTRIC POWER
BRITISH DEMAND INCREASING. INSTALLATION OF NEW PLANT. (British Official Wireless.) Rec. 5.5 p.m. Rugby, Sept. 2. To meet the increasing demand . for power supplies the Central Electricity Board has agreed to extensions and the installation of new generating plant at Liverpool, Norwich anu Portsmouth. Together these are estimated to cost almost £1,500,000.
