AWAKING EUCHRE PARTY
RUGBY CLUB AND DENTAL CLINIC. The final euchre party of a series to raise funds for the Awakino Football Club and dental clinic was held in the Awakino hall on Saturday evening. There was a. good attendance. Prizes were won by Miss Patricia CaL vert, Mrs. Basil Bryant, Mr. J. Bartlett and Mr. J. N. Bryant. Aggregate prizes were won by Mrs. L. Coleman and Mr. J. N. Bryant. The women’s prizes were given by Mrs. E. Carrington, the women's aggregate prize by Mrs. L. R. Jones and the men's aggregate prize by Mrs. J. G. Richards and Mrs. K. Black. Personal Item. Mr. W. D. Winstanley returned to Awakino from New Plymouth on Sunday.
