PROMOTIONS AND TRANSFERS. Captain G. L. Mather has been transferred to the Taranaki Regiment ftom the Auckland Regiment (Countess of Ranfurly’s Own), and has been posted to the 2nd. Cadet Battalion. He retains the rank of captain, with seniority as from February 13, 1935. In the Queen Alexandra’s (Wellington West Coast) Mounted Rifles Lieutenants R. J. Rutherford and C. R. Leach have both been promoted to the rank of captain. 1
