Mr. Poison at Te Popo.
About 14 residents of the Te Popo district attended a meeting held in the Te Popo school on Wednesday last to hear Mr. W. J. Polson, M.P., deliver Ills first political address in the district. Mr. Polson dealt extensively with the mortgagors Act, the unemployment question, and other matters pertaining to the welfare of the farming community. Mr. Norman Corkill was voted to the chair. At the. end of the address numerous questions were answered by Mr. Polson. A vote of thanks was accorded Mr. Polson and a committee was set up to further his interests in the district. Supper was supplied by the women of the district
