The body of Mrs. Annie Crawford, aged 78, who was reputedly worth £70,000; was discovered by the police at her home at Hobart in bed in the midst of 18 Jive dogs. She had been dead three days, during which time the dogs had been locked in the room. The premises were in a state of filth and squalor. . ~
