FLYING POLICEMEN
PROPOSAL TO FORM CLUB. CHANCE FOR QUALIFICATION. British Official Wireless. Rec. 5.5 p.m. Rugby, Aug. 15. Suggestions for a flying club for members of the Metropolitan Police Force has been approved by Lord Trenchard. The club will be self-supporting and will not be used as a part of the official police organisation, but every member will have the opportunity of qualifying as a pilot. No definite scheme will be prepared until it is seen what support' the proposal obtains in the force.
