appeal t/higher court. judgment on improvements. Holders of West Coast leases have decided to appeal' against the recent judgment Of Mr. Justice Blair in the Supreme Court. His Honour held that only the improvements made during the 1I ?" mediately preceding renewal could be deducted where the new rentable value was being arrived at for a third or subsequent renewal. . The decision to appeal was unanimous at meetings of lessees at Hawera, Opunake and Waitara.
