“KING OF THE DAMNED”
Production has commenced at the G.B. Studios on the film version- of John Chancellor’s convict penal settlement drama, “King of the Damned.” The cast includes Conrad Veidt, fresh from his almost saintly role in “The Passing of the 'Hurd Floor Back,” as the “Stranger.” In this, his latest picture for G. 8., he is Convict 83 due for a free pardon but secret leader of the criminals and instigator of the revolt. Others are Noah Beery and Helen Vinson.
