I Mrs.' R.' McGregor, Kaponga, spent last week-end with her mother, 1 - Mrs. J. P. Burtom . Mrs. Croker, Misses Cuff, Avery and S. Parker, New Plymouth, Mrs. -H. Glover, Mangatoki, Mrs. H. Turner, Mangamingi, Miss J. Fraser and Miss Smith, Hawera, were visitors to the Opunake golf ball. ' Mrs. T. N. "Watt and Mrs. C. H. Marcroft attended a meeting of the executive of ■ the ■ Girl-Guide Association held at New’.Plymouth op Thursday. , Opunake visitors to the Mangatoki golf ball included Mesdames Brennan, Ritchie, .Marcroft,. Misses -Trotter and Geary. . . A pleasaiiit time was spent-on Wednesday afternoon in the Rahotu chut ch vestry when Mrs. W. G’. Barr was hostess at a function in aid of guild funds. There Were about 40 guests present, visitors coming from Opunake Okato and Pungarehu. Items were given by Mesdames Murray, Hamill and Penn and competitions were won by Mesdames Wright, R. Morgan, Penn and the Rev. Penn.
