PROSPECTS OF BRIGHT FOOTBALL. MATCHES at ' NE W PLYMOUTH. Provincial Rugby League football with its fast, open, spectacular play should prove attractive to the New Plymouth public to-day when Taranaki meets South Auckland at 2.45 p.m. at Pukekura Park. The curtain-raiser, featuring the strong Ponsonby junior team from Auckland and a Taranaki junior team, will begin at 1.30 p.m. and should be an extremely interesting game. During intervals schoolboy teams representing Inglewood and New Plymouth will play. The senior teams are:— TARANAKI. Full-back: C. Hunt. Three-quarters: C. Bedford, G. Hall, W. Lewis; R.
