UNSETTLED WEATHER
JIAIN AND SNOW EXPECTED.
By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night.
The weather will be cloudy and unsettled generally, with rain in most districts, says the 4 p.m. forecast. Temperatures are falling, with snow on the ranges and possibly on some of the Idwer levels of the South Island and hail on parts of the coast. An intense depression still extends across the Dominion, but an anti-cyclone now covers eastern Australia and is advancing on to the western Tasman. Winds will be northerly io westerly at first in the North Island, but southerlies will soon become general, moderate to strong and in places reaching gale force. Seas will be rough to high on the west coast of the North Island.
