SERVICES APPRECIATED
MR. CORRIGAN’S WORK EULOGISED.
“Before commencing the business of the meeting I wish to refer to the death of Mr. J. R, Corrigan, who only last year retired from active participation, in the company’s affairs, and to whom a presentation was made at the last annual meeting,” said Mr. H. E. Johnson, chairman of directors,. at the annual meeting of the Hawera Dairy Company on Monday. “Mr. Corrigan was an earnest worker in the interests of the company and occupied a position on the board of directors for 28 years, being chairman for 17 years.” Sympathy with the family of Mr. Corrigan, with the family of tire late Mr. Robert Hicks (a very old share- * holder in the company) and with shareholders who had suffered bereavements during the past season was carried.
