WAITUI HALL FUNDS
BADMINTON CLUB FORMED. Another euchre party for the funds of the’Waitui hall was held .recently, the prize-winners being the Misses C. Wellington and I. Cossey and Mr. Charles Lyon. A badminton club has been formed in the Bristol Road district Mr. P. Roberts has been elected president and Mr. Frost secretary. Play was begun' bn Monday evening. . Personal Items. $. . . Mrs. A. Crapper ’and her daughter, Joyce, have been visiting New Plymouth. Mrs. Gee, Upland Road, spent , a few days with Mrs. W. R. Moir recently. Mrs. Bakewell is spending a holiday at Tauranga. Mr. R. Hunter has returned from an extended holiday in' the Auckland district. ' Messrs. J.- Buckley- and F. Bracegirdle have returned from a tour of the Waikato and Bay of Plenty districts.
