NOTED BOXING TWINS

Gordon (Patea), appeared in an amateur tournament under the auspices of the Marlborough Association. It was a case of past and present Australasian feather champions meeting when C. Gordon, the present champion, beat W. Hawes on points over six rounds. The winner gave a delightful exhibition of graceful boxing. V. Gordon lost on points to A. Fleming, a hard-punching southpaw.
