TRIBUTES PAID TO MR- COLEMAN.
COURT OF REVIEW POSITION.
The conviction that Mr. Alfred Coleman had outstanding qualities that peculiarly fitted him for his appointment to the Court of Review was expressed last night by members of the Stratford Racing Club, who, after the annual meeting, gathered at a social with a dual purpose —to congratulate Mr. Coleman and to make him a presentation of a crystal decanter set, marking his 32 years’ association with the club as secretary, guarantors’ representative on the committee, treasurer- and vice-president, Mr. Coleman’s resignation from an executive position has. been, necessitated by the calls that his position on the Court of Review will make on his time. The president, Mr. D. J. Malone, who made the presentation remarked, together with 10 spectators, on the capability and tact that had marked Mr. Coleman’s discharge of any position.
