LARGE SUMS STOLEN
ACCOUNTANT ADMITS HIS GUILT. MISAPPROPRIATIONS FOR MONTHS. By Telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch, Last Night. Henry Frederick George Cox, for 16 years accountant to the firm of J. J. Niven and Company Ltd., pleaded guilty in the Magistrate's Court to-day to the theft of £557 Is 2d, the property of the firm. It was alleged that the misappropriations had taken place from November last year till June this year. Cox was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence.
