FAIR TO FINE WEATHER

LIGHT SOUTHERLY WINDS. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The weather will be fair to fine generally, says the 4 P-m. forecast, but a few isolated showers in the far north ana south are expected. An anti-cyclone now covers New Zealand, the centre being west of tire South Island. Pressure is still low over south-east Australia and a shallow depression is now located north of Norfolk Island. Winds will be south-easterly to southerly north of Farewell Spit and KaikOura, elsewhere variable, but later freshening to northerlies about and south of Cook Strait. Seas will be smooth to moderate.
