Queensland Chilled Beef.
To provide the necessary facilities for encouraging the chilled beef trade, the Queensland Railway Department is spending approximately £6OOO in altering and equipping sufficient refrigerated trucks for chilled beef requirements. Provision is being made for the hanging of the meat in ' such a way that there will be no bruising. The insulation of the cars is being improved, and every effort is being made to ensure satisfactory shipment.
