THE WENDY HUT.
A LETTER FROM WENDY. SOME EXCITING NEWS. Dear links,—There is some exciting news to tell you this week —at least, I hope you will, all think it is exciting, for everyone at the Hut does. I expect you all know “Uncle Ted" and Aunt Betty, who belong to 2YB, New Plymouth. Well, it has been arranged that if some Wendy Tinies could come to New Plymouth on August 7 and recite or sing .or play the piano, “Unde Ted’s” children’s hour for that night could be turned into a Wendy Hut programme! Of course, everyone at the Hut would love this to happen, for they think it would be fun listening to Wendy Tinks, so if anyone would be able to come we should be pleased if they would let us know. They would have to be Wendy Tinks, of course, belonging to the Hut, and we should have to limit H to those living in North Taranaki, but if parents could arrange for their children to take part in, this programme the Daily News would be prepared to meet their travelling expenses. The children’s session at 2YB is from 6.30 to 7.30 and the Wendy Hut programme is to be on August 7, so will any Tinks who can be there on that day please let us know not later than next Saturday, July 27, and please tell ua also what kind of items you will be able to manage. , Love to you all— WENDY.
