KILLED BY A LIFT
OPERATOR TRIPS INTO SHAFT. DIFFICULTY IN REACHING BODY. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, July 13. While working on a lift in the Magnus Motor building, Gordon Sims, an electrician. tripped between the lift and the wall of the shaft and was killed.
It was impossible to reach the body till a wall of the shaft was demolished.
