J. FORD BEATEN BY E. JACOBS. By Telegraph—Press Association. Masterton, Last Night. Em Jacobs, Wellington (12st) scored a points decision over Jack Ford, Masterton (list 81b) in a 10-rounds professional light-heavyweight boxing contest last night. It was a first-class, willing fight all the way. Ford made his debut in the professional ranks and put up a great c'isplay. Jacobs, however, was superior in every department and won by a comfortable margin.
