PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that it is the intention of the Clifton County Council at its next meeting to be held on FRIDAY, August 2, 1935, to make and levy under Sections 120-121 of the Counties Act, 1920, and under Section 51 of the Rating Act, 1925, the following General Rates:— In the MOKAU and URUTI Ridings:— A General Rate of Two Pence (2d) in the £. In the URENUI and TIKORANGI Ridings—A General Rate of One penny and one half penny (IJd) in the £. In the WAIHI Riding:—A General Rate of One penny and three farthings (Ifd) in the £. Such Rates to be calculated on the Capital Value of all Rateable property within the County of Clifton for the period of One Year, ending on the 31st. day of March, 1936, and to become payable in one instalment on the 16th. day of August, 1935, at the Office of the Clifton County Council, Waitara, where the Valuation Rolls are open for inspection during office hours.
