Influential people concerned in the new secret and unofficial moves for AngloIrish peace, based on Mr. de Valera’s abandonment of republican claims in return for the incorporation of Ulster in an all-Ireland free state within the British Empire, have recalled that Mr. de Valera once said he Would sacrifice much for a United Ireland, reports the Sunday Express.
