Parties For Bride-to-be.
Several afternoons and evenings have been tendered at Egmont Village to Miss Jean Morton, who is shortly to be married.- Miss Jean Bishop gave a blue afternoon at which competitions were won by Mrs. Meuli and Miss M. Morton and songs sung by the guest of honour. Mrs. Gee held a handkerchief afternoon, at which bridge and fivehundred were played. Miss Comey tendered a kitchen evening in honour of the bride elect. Mrs, Leech entertained last week for her. Mrs. R. Crush entertained at a pantry afternoon. Bridge was played, the winner being Miss Lucy Corney.
