FINE WEATHER AT FIRST
RAIN DEVELOPING IN THE SOUTH. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The weather will be fine generally at first, but rain will develop later in Westland and the far south, sAys the 4 p.m. forecast. Conditions will be milder to-morrow. An anti-cyclone of moderate intensity covers New Zealand, while a depression is located over the western Tasman Sea. Winds will be light to moderate and variable at first, but northerlies will gradually prevail and become Strong about and south of Cook Strait. Seas will be smooth to moderate generally.
