TROOPING THE COLOUR
KING ATTENDS THE CEREMONY. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Rec. 9.30 p.m. London, June 3. King George, who celebrated his 70th. birthday to-day, was present at the ceremony of trooping the colour which was carried out with customary stateliness and precision •in brilliant sunshine 1 . His Majesty headed the procession from Buckingham Palace to the Horse Guards. The King was accompanied by all of his sons. The Duke of Kent, who, being a naval officer, has hitherto not participated in the ceremony, made his first appearance as Colonel of the West Kent Regiment.'
